Nā Pali Coast

According to Wikipedia, the Nā Pali Coast State Park is a 6,175 acres Hawaiian state park located in the center of the rugged 16 miles along the northwest side of Kauaʻi, the oldest inhabited Hawaiian island.

These pictures were taken during a Sunset Cruise I took with friends visiting from Boston.

HIKING THE NAPALI COAST:  Hanakapi’ai Trail is the beginning section of the Kalalau trail. Eventually, you will find rivers, beaches, and waterfalls.

The Na Pali hike is gorgeous but challenging.   These four cousins took off early, & had great fun. In the background, is the Napali coast.

The uninhabited Napali Coast is one of the most renown coastlines in the world. Like many other locations in Kauai, it can be recognized in Hollywood movies like Pirates of the  Caribbean, Perfect Getaway, and the TV series, Lost.

Same boat, different trip.  This was a snorkeling trip.  Swimming with the dolphins was an exciting experience.
